The artisan: Produced by members of a women’s collective in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Currently 24 women and their families are involved in the collective which was formed to provide its members with a common place to sell their products, improve visibility of the group and attract visitors to the community market. The group has established standardised pricing models to ensure equal economic benefits are received by all members. The collective has regular meetings, and a democratically elected president, secretary and treasurer who each serve a one year term.
